System Architecture

The system SinerAccess requires that the access to the area that is under surveillance is restricted to people wearing an identification tag. Access to the controlled area is only possible through gates at which reading devices are operating to record the transit of a user. The typologies of gates that can be constructed are described in greater detail below. It is then possible to determine a all times whether the user is inside or outside of a given area. Thus, the access control system SinerAccess allows one to:

1. define the areas that are to be put under surveillance;

2. define the access levels, namely the kind of users that can access the selected areas;

3. define access policies, namely the windows of time in which the previously defined access levels apply

4. monitor in real time the number of people that are in the previously defined areas;

5. monitor in real time the trasitions from one area to the other.
